Our saliva-based malaria diagnosis test is the result of years spent researching and developing. Leading this collaboration, Dr Benji Pretorius and Dr Richard Schmidt joined forces with the Johns Hopkins University and the Dinglasan Malaria Laboratory in Florida, US, to develop new and innovative methods in detecting and defeating malaria.
From conducting research with a keen attention to detail, through to tests out in the field, we’re striving to bring Salva to the worldwide community. Our diagnostic test aims to be an accurate, holistic way of finding malaria at an early stage – saving more lives than ever before.
