SALVA!

Salva (the Spanish word for ‘save’) is the name of our rapid diagnostic solution. Using saliva samples rather than blood means that we can bring malaria detection to communities across the world, making diagnosis quicker and more reliable. In some cases, the malaria parasite has developed a mutation which means that it can’t be detected by traditional blood samples – this is where Salva comes in.

Through non-invasive, accessible methods, we can spot malaria symptoms before they appear. This is the first step in treating and ultimately eradicating the disease across the globe.
